today i went to Dragon Boat on Little Bourke St. for yum cha. Today i remember why i haven't been there for a couple of years already. Today i decided that i will never go back there again.


Because their food isn't good. Because their prices are not worth it. Because the service sucks. Because their waiters and waitresses are not well trained.


I didn't leave a tip. I took every single cent of change back. They didn't make my dining experience pleasurable. In fact i was sitting there with a black face after 10 minutes of coming in all happy and cheery.


Because the stupid waiter was damn rude in the first instance. His attitude was at most "flippant". I had to ask for water TWICE and he even repeated my order both times. I had to ask for the bill thinggy which they give out to mark your order more than 3 times before it came. I asked for chilly oil which never came. It was obvious he was avoiding my table. God knows why. It's not as if i was rude and it's not as if i dind't say thank you everytime. It's not as if chilly oil was so expensive they had to hide it and only give it out to special people...


I don't care if you had been serving tables the whole morning. I don't care if you were tired of your job. it's YOur job and i'm the customer. If looks could kill you'd be dead by now. Actually i don't even think he was tired. I saw you serving the ang mors with great gusto. And i heard u repeating TISSUE to the vietnamese family beside me and not returning. I don't know hat is your problem but thank you for reminding me i'll never go back there to eat.
