i have not seen footshots of Penang been splashed all over Australian National TV as much as i have today. So much for promoting tourism. Makes me miss home more and wonder how badly hit is Tari Cafe and Island Plaza(the world gets a nice view of that stretch of the road with 2 sampans in the middle of the road)..and Gurney of course...will it be there the same when i finally get home??

Who'd thought it would take a Tsunami for my little island to be a world focus.
