What is it with reality TV shows these days? There seem to be more and more of them flooding the prime television times...or maybe it is just Aussie TV. *SIGHS*. Ok. I reluctantly admit that i happen to like The Amazing Race and following it's progress into the 3rd season-I am anticipating the bitch fights and the couple arguments and sulking and fighting…(Hey, i am only human!).
I have gotten myself suckered into watching The Bachelor III, Monday nights after ALIAS, though i wonder why i even bother watching-hell, whoever goes on a show like that isn't looking for love-chances of falling in love and meeting your dream "prince" on TV is like next to nil okay!!! Romance and magic don't happen that way. The 'bachelor' here always sounds too good to be true- rich, good looking, smart…etc etc...if he is all that how come he couldn't meet a girl on his own? Someone get him a book on 'good pick up lines' please!!! Sure they give their excuses, but he-llo...i don't think a tv show is the way to go. And who would want to kiss a guy who can openly kiss like 15 girls in one night? I think i just like the bitch about the girls on the show throwing themselves into a 'relationship' that might not even exist or if they do become a couple, that would not last.
Nevertheless, I watched Joe Millionaire because i wanted to see the final episode reactions when they find out he didn't have money...ha ha...
The latest in reality shows is The Australian Idol. Now see when one has a sister like mine, one cannot help but be dragged into watching all the episodes. The first thing that went through my head was *ASIA BAGUS!! ASIA BAGUS!!!*. It really HAS a remarking resemblance to that show they used to show i think RTM 3 every Sunday afternoon? (ok, so i was a sad kid, who spent Sundays watching TV to pass time during primary school...should i mention i used to watch those rather emotional and entertaining Tamil movies as well? All that dancing and running around trees...OO and not to forget the cruel mother in laws – they are like Chinese soaps but in Tamil and with trees and bushes.) Amazingly enough some of the singing was really good-Re. Pig farmer and AXLE!!!(SO let down he didn't make it through)..oh wells.............aiyaiyai....Neighbours just started. I'm off!
