I was standing in the toilet paper aisle looking at the vast variety of toilet paper today. Inclined to grab the cutest toilet paper pack around (Kleenex Puppy Prints) but stopped short after comparing prices and it hit me there- choices. We all have choices in life. No one can stop me from picking the puppy toilet paper despite it being a whole 3 dollars more than the Purex rolls if I really wanted to.
In every crossroad, in every point in life, I have a choice. It is up to me to chose the path I want to take. It came down to if the puppy prints were worth the extra 3 dollars to see my rear end or plain white paper was sufficient, after all, the use would be but for a mere couple of seconds before it gets flushed down the toilet.
Like any other choice, it is only natural that I weighed the worth of the choices. I bought the Purex Rolls (Stingy-poker). I wonder if this was the right choice. Maybe now, it would seem like the wrong choice, to turn away from the Kleenex Puppy prints, but maybe it will turn out to be the right decision after all (hey, Kleenex could always go on sale!) and somewhere down the path of life I would benefit from this choice of mine.
