John Grisham's latest- The King of Torts
He writes a story by entwining reality with fiction. That is what i like about his novels.
This latest however, is rather dissappointing? A cliche story - mass torts litigation theme, typical rag to riches and the evils of greed, predictable. Yes. very predictable. No unexpected twist, no surprises, a bitter sweet "normal" ending. He has not surpassed himself this time. Should have saved my $26.95 and waited for the paperback. Worth a read, but don't expect anything you haven't already heard of before.
A positive note, at least this story did make me want to stay clear of mass tort litigations. It is a branch which is where the big bucks are made (big companies have the millions to dish out!) but you also have to sell your humanity doing it. Nu-uh.
